POSITION SUMMARY
The RiskBridge Investment Team provides comprehensive manager due diligence across a wide range of investment strategies, including separately managed accounts, mutual funds, UCITS, exchange-traded funds, and private vehicles in the equity, fixed income, and alternative investment classes. The Investment Team engages with a broad array of investment managers to identify high-quality strategies for client portfolios.
The investment analyst will focus on fixed income investment strategies available across mutual funds, SMA, and ETF vehicles. The investment analyst will primarily be responsible for sourcing new investment managers and conducting initial and ongoing investment due diligence for various fixed income products.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead end-to-end manager due diligence across public fixed income strategies, including documentation review, conference calls, on-site visits, and in-person meetings with portfolio managers and senior investment personnel.
Evaluate managers across the investment process, portfolio construction, risk management, fund terms, current positioning, and historical return profile, applying both common analytical frameworks and bespoke analyses to develop differentiated insights.
Conduct portfolio and performance attribution analysis using internal and third-party tools to assess return drivers, risk exposures, and consistency with stated strategy.
Produce written research that supports RiskBridge's investment decisions and house views.
Present findings and recommendations to the RiskBridge Investment Committee.
Source new investment ideas and monitor existing strategies through ongoing engagement with portfolio managers and senior personnel.
Serve as a go-to resource for colleagues seeking current information on managers, comparative analyses, and the research team's opinion.
Stay current on industry trends, regulatory developments, and market events affecting funds, managers, clients, and the broader asset management industry.
Adhere to firm policies and procedures governing initial and ongoing due diligence, including on-site reviews, written notes, and timely updates to reports and monitoring files.
Contribute to a collaborative team environment built on idea sharing, mutual learning, and coverage back-up.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
Series 65 is required, and successful completion of CFA is a plus
Bachelor’s degree with a record of achievement
3-5 years of manager due diligence experience
Strong, demonstrated interest in investments
Demonstrated command of written communication and strong business writing skills
Strong analytical and quantitative skills
Demonstrated leadership, integrity, and initiative
Ability and willingness to engage in conversation with internal and external parties, including senior investment managers
Strong Excel skills are required. Programming skills are a plus.
Ability to work both independently and in a team under tight deadlines
Ability and willingness to travel domestically
